Shower Singing

I couldn't resist, this will bring a smile to your face...Raegan is definitely our singer. If you don't recognize the song, look up Disney's Phineas and Ferb, our kids just love them!

My oldest child has turned double digits! So here is a big Shout out to my sweet Rian hAPPY bIRTHDAY! I hope you had a great day!
Rian was able to pick her favorite dinner: Tostadas
Daddy went to her class at lunch and got ice cream for the class.
Sunday we will indulge in Wardwell tradition of ice cream cake
Next week she will invite a few friends for a little sleep over.
Hopefully my camera will cooperate and I will be able to snap some pictures...gotta take it in.

Count Down...!

Yesterday I found Rian's little count down to Wednesday. I should have snapped a picture then...today I got around to it and found she already updated it. She is so funny and always creative! This is a metal lid to a dominos case, she decided she would use it for a dry erase board!

But reality kind of set in last night too. We will be parents of a 10 year old...what I mean by that is...we are parents to a double digit aged child! Where has the time gone?

Halloween Week

The slacker that I am, I finally got some decorations up. He kids just love having spiderwebs up and putting the spiders in it. It kind of looks like a mess...For FHE we carved the pumpkin and let the kids decorate their own "baby pumpkin". So we have the one jack-o-lantern and her 5 little babies gathered around.

Thank You Gma W for the fun Halloween package! As you can see, they love it!

Tim & Kylee Family

Tim and Kylee, here is another preview. Obviously I'm still new to photography and software, but I think it has turned out really well. I will send you a disc of all pictures, and let you do with them as you want. Thanks for the practice. You have a gorgeous family! I'm especially bias toward Nixon...my little buddy.

Trevor and Ashley Palmer

On October 16, 2009, my brother married his eternal companion in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. It was a beautiful day full of joy, family and new beginnings. Welcome to the family Ashley! More like welcome to the crazy life of the Palmers! :o) Seriously, you are a great addition to our huge family!
You can imagine our many family members dotting the entrance of the temple waiting for the grand entrance of the newly sealed couple.

Carter wanting to test out the sprinkler...who says you can't run through sprinklers on temple grounds?

Hair Cut

I went to my sister-in-law, Karen, for a cut and color while out in AZ. I've been toying with the idea to go short for quite sometime. I've gone short before, but seemed to always be in the middle of prego-ness or something that made the cut seem too much for my round face. Well, looking back at a picture when I only had ONE child and still looking smashingly thin, I decided to make another attempt... Karen, you did an excellent job!! I love it and many have said the same! I just hope I will be able to maintain the look...since I'm kind of slow when it comes to doing things for myself...

Afterward, I met up with some friends from childhood (thank you Facebook!) One of which was a friend from way back...hadn't seen each other in 20 years (did I just say 20? I'm so old) Well, Jill has a fascinating hobby of photography and has really inspired me to begin what I hope to develop into a real art. Yep, that's her...sorry I thought I had gotten more pictures...

She took a few pictures of me (so awkward, that's the reason I take pictures...so I won't be in them) but she did some magic with my uncoordinated self and I LOVE how they turned out...I guess it helps to have a salon styled hairdo...and a talented photographer.

These may be the last of the pictures you will see of me...so remember me as this hot momma!

Cabin...Fever?

Ahhh the cure of the fever, enjoying family time at the cabin. I had heard that my two brothers and their families had gone up for a few days. My little brother, Tony, was on his way to join them so I decided to hitch a ride and tag along. So Friday night we arrived around 10:30pm just in time to catch the end of their movie. Scott and Heather and their 5 sweeties, and Ben and Karen and their 5 cuties needed some Auntie Rhondi time! (The little ones only know their Aunt Shanda, so I needed to teach them my name too)
This cabin is about 2 hours from Phx, in the cool mountains!

First thing Sunday morning, Tony and I head back to town. A short visit, but some good times. Since it was dark on the drive up, I didn't get to take in the familiar scenery that I've come to love. The Beeline Hwy is a well traveled route in our family. It's amazing how I feel like I know each of these mountains as if they have watched me grow up.

Cactus for the kids to see.

Sugar Loaf Mountain, where we would take our 3 wheelers many years ago.

Fountain Hills--The fountain always goes off at the top of the hour and last for 15 mins. We would always look for this fountain.
