Halloween

Happy Halloween!!

Trinity Empy (Harry Potter) and Raegan (Kylo Ren - Star Wars villan, she loves being a villan)

Ammon loved the crown and cape, so I guess you could say he's a king.  Really, he's my Prince Charming.

Tarin helped out in the Haunted House in her Lemer Onsie :o)

Halloween Night, we really only had Raegan and Ammon dress up... bummer to grow up.  Rian and Jarom and Tarin all hung out at friends houses, while Raegan went trick or treating with her friends Sabree and their posse.  Ammon, hung out with mom and dad.  It was kind of empty only walking around with one kid... but it was still so exciting for him, that kept me smiling.

Meeting back in our neighborhood, the kids got together for a pictures.

Sweet 16!

Decorating her room with glowing balloons

Another year older for this amazing girl.  It's a beautiful day to celebrate a sweeter than sweet daughter at the magical age of 16! Life is full of joy with her talent, love and humor. Looking forward to watching her grow up and thrive! Enjoy YOUR day! Love you tons!

Piano Recital

Raegan playing her duet.  She did a fabulous job!

Rian playing her duet.
Love listening to our kids practice and then perform.  Recitals on the grand piano, as opposed to our ancient piano, sure makes for a polished evening.

Tying Shoes

Watching my son practice tying his shoes made me realize the significance of the situation.  He is my last one to learn this skill.  My heart wanted to cry out, even when I was beaming with pride.  I'm actually writing this in July 2016, and trying to catch up on the blog (so I can finally delete pictures off my phone, hahaha ;) but I do remember this made my heart ache to see my baby growing up...hence I'm aging too.  I loved watching all of my kids achieve all these milestones and move on to the next one, but Ammon is shoring up the timeline.  I love being a mom, I'm sad to see the days of little ones no longer little, because I love their excitement to achieve and share them with me.  I love my teens too, but sharing with parents is a whole other story... we aren't cool anymore.  Where did the time go?

Sunday Beauty

Sunday was Stake Conference and decided afterwards so enjoy a little bit of nature.  I have ridden my bike past this beach on Utah Lake and thought it would be a good place to enjoy the water and "sand" or mud.  It was a beautiful day...behind Tarin is Lake Mountain where we live in Saratoga Springs.

Only a few people around, but mostly, the beach was ours.

Love the shimmers of the sun dancing on the ripples.

A freindly game of soccer... I think dad missed that one...

Sad when it's time to go home...

Student Council

Raegan wanted to try student council this year, and part of her responsibilities is to help with the monthly school assemblies.  I had to go to one and watch.  She had fun doing her part, then at the end they dance across the stage while classes pack up and go.  Love my spunky girl.

Busy Weekend

Trent wanted to go on a morning run, and Ammon was insistent that he ride along with dad.  So here they are taking off on a brisk, wet morning together.  They went about 6 miles.

Next on the things to do today were 3 soccer games.  I'm glad our kids get to play, but wow, Saturdays get busy and I can't say I look forward to spring and fall schedules of practices and games...  Rian didn't want to play this year.  I'm sad she didn't but the bonus is less practices and games.  I'm proud how well our kids do in soccer.  They are so fun to watch!

Ammon sporting his new short mohawk hair cut.  Dad loves coaching Ammon's team.  This is half time treats.

Tarin loves to play goalie.  She does a great job.

Raegan likes to play goalie too, but is willing to try all positions with forward being her favorite.
Gooooooal!

That night was priesthood session so Trent and Jarom were with the Wardwell men.  Shanda,  my sisiter, was in town and joined our festivities.  Yes, Shanda is still taller then Tarin...

I found this idea and wanted to try.  In theory is should work...but it wasn't as beautiful as the post I found it on.  Oh well, it still tasted good.

Dinner was bread bowls.

Then we did our girls night, spa night with Ammon.  Mud masks and treats with a movie.
