When in Arizona do as they do...swim with swim lessons!

Hair Cut

The kids have called me Alien Mom when they saw me with the foils...I do look funny! Karen was wonderful to do my hair and let all the kids play together. 10 kids running around was interesting, but they love each other. Rian is the star photographer in this post.

Here I am with my short and really blonde hair!!! Wow, I have to get use to this. I feel like I'm wearing a wig, but I'm a person that needs a little time until my real thoughts come out.

The back is very stacked. Karen did a fantastic job!

Palmer Family Reunion

So we took the long journey across the country from Georgia to Arizona. What a sight to see...the Arizona state line. I could finally tell my kids that we were in Arizona...but 4 more hours of driving!

Once we reached my parents house, we sort of settled in, but took off the next day up to Prescott, AZ to Anytown campsite for a Palmer reunion. My kids absolutely had a blast. They loved the cabins, cousins, all you can drink beverages and snacks, and freedom to wonder the grounds!

Gpa time with Nixon and Ammon going to play some BBall

What a sweetie

Looking for "buggies" while rolling around and copying each other.

Part of our stay was to accomplish family pictures for my mom's wall of fame. My family...well, let's just say this was the best one that turned out...Jarom never smiled and you could tell pictures aren't fun sitting still. BTW my hair will be renewed next week...

Story of our life, try to have romance but kids are everywhere...

This is my family. Parents and all 11 bros and sis.

You can see who the real goofy ones are in the family...

Altogether except my sisters' quads (disabled) and Heather and Brooke...soon to be photo shopped in.

Yep a whole lot of us...Loved my camera remote!

Here are all the Fathers, my dad with my 7 brothers and 4 in-laws.

sSomething about being under the bridge...must have been the sand from the dry creek bed.

Gma time, teaching a few how to knit.

Tatum, Ashton and Reed coloring

Trying to fit a bunch into Jared's hammock...

Because Jarom was missing his cub scout day camp in GA, we were trying to pass as much off as possible while out here in AZ...so perfect time to raise the American flag.

Nixon

Nixon wanted to try out Gpa's bike.

Slide Rock

Part of the reunion included going up to Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon and reliving our family memories at Slide Rock! It is so beautiful up there.
When we were little, we use to park on the side of the road and hike down into this attraction, now it's a national park. As you can see it's very popular now. It was a lot of fun and great times.

Jarom was named Otter after this day, he just kept going down this slide over and over...just an FYI, this is snow water straight from the mountains, so I myself didn't spend a ton of time in this, but the kids ate it up!

Jared
Some minor cliff jumping went on. This ledge was about 15 ft. I wasn't able to catch the 30+ft jump event.
Ben in all his white glory!

yep, that's me...don't think I could breathe much going down...it was very cold!

Jarom helping Raegan

Go Jared, Go Tony!

Rian wanted to show how brave she was...I was very proud of her...she went many more times after this.

Jarom ended up needing to be "tapped" off the cliff, and I decided it was time to show how it's done!

Ammon loved it too!
