Race For Riley

Our ward had a 'Day of Service' to help out with The Race For Riley. Our family decided to participate in the race. It's been on our list of goals to achieve for this year, so we took the opportunity. I ran the 5K with Rian and Jarom. Then I ran the Mile race with Tarin and Raegan. I am proud of my kids for doing this and becoming aware of how to be healthy. Jarom and Rian both shaved off 5 mins from the last 5K last December...so proud. BTW, the bag of goodies you get with signing up, was amazing. I never got such awesome stuff with bigger races, so not only was the experience fun, but we went home with great stuff too. Also the town this race was hosted in was Serenbe, GA. A great place to stroll around and even take some pictures.

Thank you Trent for sitting this one out with Ammon.

Happy Anniversary

So Young

13 years ago today, our family came together forever in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. We have 5 beautiful kids together and have had many adventures...with many many more to come. So glad to be put together with such a wonderful man. Looking back at these pictures looking so young and bright eyed, little did we know how much we would learn and grow. Thank you honey for so many years of love and patience. Happy Anniversary!

These were a little overexposed, but I loved them...shows what character he has.

Raegan is my beautiful, little princess.

Sweet little Tarin

Just A Few Favorites...

Although I am done having my own little newborns around, I really did enjoy this little guy! All the little sounds and movements a little one makes are so precious. Truly a creation of God. So thankful for our Lord Jesus Christ and the experiences and mistakes we are allowed to have to become better and stronger. Happy Easter.

Photo Shoot

This is little baby Zac. He is such a little cutie. I've only photographed a few infants, so this was tricky and I wondered how professionals keep them so still! This was taken in my basement with a large window for natural light...some day I will be able to control my own lighting. This was a lot of fun, I'm glad to dabble in this hobby. I will post more pictures later.

Quiet Time

I just had to put these on here. This little guy doesn't like quiet time very much, but he was being so cute, I had to snatch a few moments. He and Tarin are my most photogenic and I love living in their moments.

reflection fascinates me...

Fuzzy The Caterpillar

As I work on costumes outside (painting involved) for the Youth Cultural Temple Celebration (pics to come)...Tarin and Ammon were noticing that if you just look around, you could find all kinds of caterpillars! Ammon liked to squish them and say they have green bugers coming out, but I kept telling him that there won't be any butterflies without them. That sparked Tarin's interest. She wanted to keep one and watch it transform. This brought me back to my 2nd grade days. I had a teacher that had 2 caterpillars in a jar, and as they went through their transformation she took the time to point it out and tell us what was happening. I loved that experience, because I'm an observer and I know my kids have some of the same qualities. My only hope is, the little guy doesn't kill over! Hopefully we can witness the same things...hope it doesn't turn to a moth! Guess I should have researched that before Tarin invested so much interest into this guy!

He was named Fuzzy...I know...how did they ever come up with that one...?

Is there such thing as "shaken caterpillar syndrome"? Ammon may have invented that one...

Happy Birthday To Me

Yep, another year has come and gone. Looks as though I needed to eat a giant stack of pancakes...my husband makes the best pancakes and I love breakfast foods. The kids loved devouring these pancakes and enjoyed doing things for me. These next pictures are a book that some of kids made for me. It was a book of self-photocopier images from the day they went to work with dad, over spring break. It's very humorous and so cute! I had a great day! They are future photographers for sure...

These pictures are Hilarious

Finished Project

It's official! I finally finished! I've had this fabric for almost 2 years from a fabric store that went out of business...in other words, I got it for an outrageously great price. I haven't had a whole lot of time to finish, but had all the necessary items to do it. Now...it is done and the paper blinds are officially off. Still have two more rooms with paper blinds, but it's not every day a fabric store goes out of business. Anyhow, I had to show off that one more thing on my list is officially crossed off! Yipee!

Spring Cleaning

This is what Spring Cleaning is for...

Not sure who all would even notice all the work and effort that has gone into these last couple of days...but I'm so glad no one would see ALL the things I have seen. Here is just a little taste...

Floor vents...

Results from Floor vents...Ammon has been my big contributer!

To bad other things don't stay clean on a regular basis...

Lost Tooth

This tooth was a lot of work! We were all relieved when it came out...glad the neighbors didn't call DFACS on us... I had to finally hold her down and just yank it! I know, I'm so mean, but she wasn't letting me get near it! She was glad the tooth fairy still remembered her. Going to miss her cute gap she had. Now the other tooth...

Family In Town

Gma and Gpa were in town for Troy and Kristin's baby, so we had a fun Sunday dinner a bit ago. Ammon had a chance to open a birthday gift from them. He loved the attention!

Now he has a game of his own. He said, "I have my own DS!" Not quite, but it is fun to see him play along side of his siblings.

Yummy sundaes!

Denham and Brenin were also in town. Fun to have the boys all together!
