King Daddy

Father's Day had come! The kids helped make eggs in the hole for breakfast and loved watching him wear his crown all morning. They loved the place mat...you'll see it again for years to come...and fed King Daddy grapes in royal fashion. After breakfast, I started making dinner (since church is sooo stinkin' late) and watched as the kids loved playing Spongebob Life game with their beloved daddy. What a treat to have his meetings cancelled in the morning, so he can spend precious time with his little ones. That's what it is all about. Not only to recognize him for his greatness in sacrifices and dedication, but to remember what being a daddy/parent is all about...seeing your kids smile and laugh because they are truly comfortable and happy in this crazy world. To really see their joy shine through because of what we as parents create to protect and teach them; most of all that we are all our Father in Heaven's children. Happy Father's Day to all Dad's out their. We love you!

After dinner, yummy lasagna and mud pie, the kids had gotten ambitious and "made dinner" again. They pulled out all baking pans, pots and dishes known in our house and spread it all over the kitchen, in attempt to "make dinner". It was very cute to watch them pull dish after dish out of the oven (no real food of course) and feed their special cakes and breads and pies...to their dad. He was stuffed after that!
