In Memory of Shalla DeMille

Here is the last picture taken with their GGma Shalla DeMille (Trent's Gma). We were able to visit family in Utah this past summer, and I'm so glad we did. We really loved GGma and loved all the times we were able to visit her while she lived here in GA. When I told my 7 year-old son about GGma's passing, he made the cutest observation, "she gets to see Jesus almost on his birthday!" Today is her funeral, wish we could be there. Our thoughts and prayers are with the "DeMille" family.

Thank you Rhonda, I wish you could have all been here also. I'll try to give an update on the family website on Monday. I don't think I'll have a second to do it tomorrow.

Thanks so much for this nice tribute. It is truly a bitter-sweet time for us.

Love you,
Stacey

So sorry to hear about your loss. Jarom's comment is so precious and sweet. What a special little guy to make such an observation. By the way Rhonda, do you print out your blog entries. I'm trying to figure out how to do that?? Any ideas? Thanks again for the fun games for Christmas. We've had sick kids and a sick family--even when we were in Idaho, so we haven't even had a chance to have a game night and play them. Hopefully soon!

I was so fond of Sister DeMille. She was the pianist for me when I was the Primary chorister in PTC ward for a little while. She truly loved music and loved those kids. She was an amazing woman that inspired me many times. I'm so sorry for your loss.
