Happy Birthday Trent

Another year has gone by. Trent turned 32 yesturday. It's nice to have a little family nearby to help celebrate.

This is our family's tradition, (because it's easy and doesn't take much talent). Chocolate Chip Cookie cake with the up coming Michigan football season colors.

The kids were so excited for daddy to open their gifts they had gotten him...they used their own little savings to get him bubble gum and candy.

Once again, we had everyone over for dinner to wish Trent a happy, happy birthday. We love you, we love you Trent. (sorry for the cheesy music on the video, I'm experimenting)

Band Time

Here is a video of Rian, Denham and Brenin playing in there "band". They are singing a song from the movie "Bridge to Terabithia" (sp?) Normally Jarom, Tarin and Raegan are in the band, but Jarom was school shopping with dad and the others were in quiet time.

Spiritual Feeding

Raegan said she was bored and came to sit in my room. She sat in the chair and grabbed daddy's scriptures. She loves to flip through and see all the markings Trent has made over the years. I thought this was the sweetest picture. I guess I need to get myself doing the same...except actually reading.

4 Months-Old

"ME WANT FOOD"

For all of you who watch 30 Rock, you know what I'm referring to.

Our son is filling out the same way.











Our heavy weight weighed in at 16.5 lbs! He also stretched out to 25 1/4 inches. That means he grew 5 1/4 inches since he was born and gained around 9 lbs.

Family Fun

We had everyone over for Sunday dinner. Haystacks are always fun and easy. Besides a few fold up chairs on the corners, we are still able to fit everyone around our table.

A neighbor invited all of us over for a swim. I'm not sure she knew what she was asking when we came walking over with 7 kids... Having Denham and Brenin over 3 times a week has been really fun for my kids. It's great to have some family around.

Wild Life In Our Backyard

Here are a few shots of a deer that wondered in our backyard for about 10 minutes. I guess if I do a garden next year, it will have to involve a fence. Usually there is a mama and two fawns.

The kids found a turtle. Obviously they scared him pretty good, because it would not come out, no matter how quite we stayed.

Avrie Meets Scissors

To my understanding Avrie had gotten a hold of some scissors. She has long beautiful hair...and I think only her bangs were the victim. From the look on her face, she found out she didn't do a "good" thing. Carrie, I've been there! Good luck.

Thank Goodness For 1 Year Warranties

(Big Breath)...so this is in our basement looking up to the master bathroom. I'm not positive, but pretty sure our tub is leaking somewhere.

Aren't new houses suppose to be easy? Well, I'm just glad we figured it out within a year.

I've noticed a puddle on the ground before, but thought the kids had something to do with it...kind of like the bike treads that are running all through it.

Plummer is coming tomorrow, we'll see what's going on.

Hooray!!

Denham and Brenin are back! Missy was able to win her custody battle which allows them to be here for the next couple of weeks. My kids were exstatic. Here they are in our basement having the time of their lives together.

So we did. Here is Maddie Gardner, Kindra Roner, and me ready to dig into our super moist dark chocolate cake. Good times. We are already planning for the next night...of course you know we go walking too...to work off those calories.

Daddy's Tie

So this is the tie the kids and I had made for Trent for Father's Day while out of town. I finally remembered to take the picture. Obviously three, pink, princess buttons for the girls and 2 truck buttons to represent the boys. As far as I know, he did wear it on that specified day.

Not Much To Come

Well, this blog has been on fire with tons of events to document in the past several weeks. But now until school starts their shouldn't be much going on...whew!

Here is everyone all together one last time. Early in the morning, Gma and Gpa, Denham, Brenin and Baylie will be driving back home.

Tarin Turns 5 !!!

Our third child turns 5! (July 3rd). Wow, I am getting old. And no, there aren't 5 candles on the Traditional-Wardwell-ice cream cake. Trent thought the "T" shape would be more challenging to blow out. He was right.

Kenadie Turns The Big One

Kenadie was able to join the festivities. She turned one-year-old on the 2nd of July. The initiation of completing one whole year of life was celebrated with the traditional eating-of-the-cake.

She started out shy

But soon dug in and found that she loved to entertain everyone.

She also found that the feet are a big part of having a good time.

Finally, she was taken to the bath tub in a garbage bag to prevent further destruction. Carrie, you should be proud of this one.

Six Flags Over Georgia

Yesterday the girls had a great day of fun. Stacey (mother-in-law), Jodi, Kiley, and I spent a big portion of the day riding every ride possible. It was a fun day without children.

We used the flash pass for the first time and think it is soooo worth it. We jumped on the rides so fast. The most we ever waited for a ride was 15 mins. and that was for maintenance reasons. We rode everything about 3 times each.

Back home, Gpa Wardwell and Carrie watched the little kiddies and entertained them to the capacity of their sanity. They did awesome from what I can see...sidewalk chalk, maccaroni necklaces, swimming, and much more

What The...!

I looked up at the top of the window trim in the bathroom and saw something I didn't recognize. Have you ever seen one of these?!? I wasn't about to swat at it. DeAnn I thought of you and the strange bug you found. Luckily I had a father-in-law here to come to the rescue...he caught it with a cup and said it flew away when he let it go.

A Day At The Park

We have 4 of the 7 here. Rian, Baylie, Raegan, and Brenin. We went to the Castle Park in Newnan to have a picnic and play. They had a great time.

Bring-Your-Son-To-Work Day

Well, it really wasn't one of those days, but Trent decided that he needed some time with his boy. So he brought Jarom to work with him until lunch. This is what he was able to do...

Check out the smile on that boy! Trent said this was a playland for little boys. Jarom is pretty proud of himself for working the tractor by himself. I think I want a go at it too!
