Memories!

(I'm not usually into these kind of tag thingys, but this sounds like fun.)

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together (Rhonda or Trent). It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

One of my favorite memories of my big bro, Trent, was when i was in junior high and he and missy were in high school. they would drive me to my school before heading to theirs. missy and i were waiting in the car for him and i was sitting shotgun. trent came out and absolutely refused to get in the car until i got in the back seat so he could sit in the front. the ordeal went on for several minutes and the highlight was when he chose to sit on the hood so as to prove his point even more. it was good times in the Wardwell household...despite this act, i couldn't have asked for a better big brother!

I remember the first time I met Trent. I had just started at RM and you were the manager. Rhonda worked that day also, but came in a little later. I saw that she had a ring on her finger and noticed that Trent didn't. I was so shocked when I saw how much Trent was flirting with Rhonda! I remember thinking, I can't believe that he is flirting with her...she is MARRIED! Little did I know, but I soon found out that you were married to each other!! Hopefully Trent wears his wedding ring now!!!:) :)

I remember meeting Rhonda for the first time even before I knew we were going to be moving to Newnan. I was visiting Andrea and we went to dinner with several of the girls from church before the women's broadcast. I was introduced to Rhonda and told that she had just had a baby five weeks earlier. I was amazed at how great she looked and then to learn that it was her fourth, I was blown away. The list of things that amazed me about her grew more and more the more as I got to know her better.

I remember when Trent was coming home from his mission and we were so excited to be roommates at BYU. It was his first week back and we were getting together with a bunch of friends to hang out (including several girls). Trent was a little nervous after not hanging out with girls for 2 years, but I think wanted to show off a little bit. While we were passing football, Trent went out for a long pass and ended up diving into a thornbush. I'll take the blame because my throw led him there. He made a sweet diving catch though! and I think everyone was pretty impressed. We spent the next hour pulling thorns out of his arms, legs, neck, etc. That was the beginning of several fun memories at BYU. -Jay Strong
