Primary Breakfast, Meet The Teachers

This is a few weeks late, but I had forgotten my camera and used my phone to take pictures...well, I can't figure out how to get those pics off my phone and on to here. Oh well. So here are the pictures the Primary Pres. took.

This is part of the bishopric making pancakes for the breakfast. Just an FYI, our primary has 155 kids in it, so the entire cultural hall was filled with kiddos. That's a lot of pancakes.

The construction theme was something about this year will be building our testimonies...I can't remember...sorry! But it was cute.

Here is Tarin with her friend Haley.

Rian with Hannah.

Raegan with her class putting the puzzle together to figure out what class room # they will be in.

Raegan's turn in the "find your shoe" race.
(I guess they didn't get a picture of Jarom...my guess he was off running around somewhere...)

Do I Pass?

I am the Ward Trek Specialist. We are doing a reenactment of the Pioneer Trek in early June, and I wanted to make a dress before I asked the youth to do the same. (Let's just say that the hot, humid, Georgia summer isn't going to be very fun in this dress.) I was so proud that I finished it, in all of my much spare time...and decided to do a photo shoot...

Do I look the part? I am now Caroline Ingalls...or Emma, or whom ever else you can think of in that time.

Yeah, a little scary I know. I got a little carried away. But (southern accent)
little 'O me in my bonnet, I felt like...going out to chop some wood or bake an apple pie.
That is suppose to be a foot with a blue sock...I guess you can't see that I'm kicking up my foot, my daughter said it looked like I had a tail. Oh well.

Our Little Boy, Isn't So Little Anymore!

Just an update on how fast our little man is growing up. Here is a clip of how Ammon first started to "crawl". It was actually his 9month marker day. It's kind of funny how he 'army crawls' with only one arm and one leg.

Here is the cute ball of hair. His little head can be full of curls if I wet it down and fluff it up. I guess he gets that from me. He has so much of it!

Cupboards, yep, he gets mad if we don't let him play with the ones above the counter. The lower cabinets aren't good enough.

"Are you talking about me again?"

It's a lot of fun watching him figure things out. Turning on/off light switches is another new trick he likes to spend time on.

Yep, he's even a big help in the kitchen...unloading the dishwasher.

Bowls, bowls and more bowls. The more noise, the better I guess.

And it wouldn't be complete, if he wasn't searching for the stairs, and attempting to conquer them!

This is so hard to leave whenever he needs to take a nap. He stands up and reaches out for me. What a sweet slice of cutie pie.

Now, just a few weeks later from the first clip, Ammon has become a very good crawler! He's all over the place. As you will see his brother and sisters love him a ton. Also he loves to play with all the door stoppers and chew on the toppers. He knows where every stopper is...crazy little guy!

Jordin Nicole Morris

Jordin was born December 12, 2008 to my little sister Traci and her hubby David Morris. That is also David's birthday. I guess that could be fun having daddy-daughter birthdays.
I finally was able to get a picture to post. This is their first little one. It was a tough pregnancy road, but Jordin finally came into this world to find a great family to love her. I hope to hold her sometime in this New Year of '09.

In Memory of Shalla DeMille

Here is the last picture taken with their GGma Shalla DeMille (Trent's Gma). We were able to visit family in Utah this past summer, and I'm so glad we did. We really loved GGma and loved all the times we were able to visit her while she lived here in GA. When I told my 7 year-old son about GGma's passing, he made the cutest observation, "she gets to see Jesus almost on his birthday!" Today is her funeral, wish we could be there. Our thoughts and prayers are with the "DeMille" family.
