Bunk Bed Craze

Tarin and Raegan are so excited for the new addition...no baby yet...for bunk beds! They couldn't sleep the first night, and got up super early the next morning. Lucky us. Anyone that comes over, they have to show it off.

Tarin is on the top and Raegan on the bottom. But they enjoy the top together. Thanks to daddy for the assembly and Gpa and uncle Troy for the lifting (daddy went to Tues. church).

Grandpa In Town

Gpa W. came for an evening and endulged us with pizza and games. Even though Gpa didn't stack the game, him winning saved a lot of "that's not fair".

Dress Up Time

Last week, the kids had no school. Rian invited Riley to play, and they rallied all the kids to put on a play "The Nutcracker". Jarom was a trooper and played a small part in the dance. Very sweet.

"Jump 2 It"

With school out for a week, I needed to find something to keep kids busy. On top of it all, it's raining for a few days. So I asked a family with same age kids and had Rian invite a friend and we went to this indoor jumping place. The kids love it...Our family is a regular customer.

Rian and Riley (from school).

Rian Gets a Hair Cut

After a few cheesy smiles, I finally got a piture of Rian with her hair about 3 inches shorter. It's always so sad to see all that hair fall to the ground. But she loves it.

Princess Rae

Our little princess decending the staircase. Dress up clothes have become a favorite passtime during quiet time.

Domestic Rian

Rian is helping mom to grind wheat into flour. Mom is getting better at making bread and other things, and maybe someday Rian can do it for mom.

Rian is a great helper. Good thing, because there is a whole week off of school.

Big Sister Rian

Raegan is a book worm. She's always asking for someone to read to her. Lucky for mom, Rian loves to read to Raegan. Mom has read these books over and over to Raegan already.

Rian has been a big helper and loves to be with little sister Rae.

Crazy Tarin

Tarin decided that she wanted to fly. This was her attempt on her back. She says she can fly on her back and on her front.

This is her flying on her front. She really is a spaz when you see her do it live. I kept asking her if she was swimming...but she insisted it was flying.

Game Night With Aunt Missy

Aunt Missy is here for a few weeks and we have had a blast. The kids find every opportunity to play games and help Missy. Tarin has gotten better at "Guess Who".

Different games are going on at once. Missy and Tarin at Guess Who and Rian and Jarom playing Uno. Then they all switch around so they can all get a piece of Missy.

Friendly Game of Uno

Uno is the game we all love to play. The other day I caught Rian and Tarin playing. They truly are sweet to watch. Tarin is getting pretty good.

Snack Time

After school, it is snacktime. Tarin decided to sit in the middle of the kitchen floor. Raegan misses Tarin all day and basically follows Tarin's every move...so she joined in. They are so cute, until they notice I'm taking a picture of them...deer-in-headlights.

"My" Little Pancakes

Saturdays are pancake mornings. For the last few days, Raegan has been requesting little pancakes. As you can see by the grin, she is very satisfied.

You can also figure she wanted to do everything herself.

Tired Tarin

Last night I had to get this picture. Every night she has to snuggle up with her sheet really tight. I think she was thinking of sweet valentine's.
Tonight she just told me, "I like to hold on my sheets so I don't fall out of bed." She's never had a problem falling out, but if it makes her happy.

Taking Notes

A few days ago, Raegan helped me to make some bread. She found her journal and decided to make her own entry.

Where We Stand

Here is something that I thought was very cute. I had just gotten signs and car stickers of Mitt Romney and found that Jarom made his own. Does he really know who this guy is? Probably not, but it just made me smile to know he's out to notice everything.

Tons More Snow!!!

Saturday brought more snow to Georgia. The kids were so excited. This time is snowed a few hours with huge flakes and stuck to everything except the roads and concrete.

Here is "Jeff." I don't know where they came up with the name, but they loved to build him. It's funny, because just about every house with kids had a snowman in there front yard. It's definitely the token thing to do when it snows.

The kids couldn't wait to get outside with dad and build the snowman.

Daddy's truck and "Tubby's" car was covered (according to Georgia's standards).

Friendly snowball fight on the back deck.

It's Snowing!?!

This is the first time in 6 years that it snowed. (Excluding the freakish ice storm 4 years ago.) So you can imagine the excitement of the kids.

It's kind of hard to see the snow unless you click on the picture. I promise it is there.

The kids had to get out and play in it. It's more fun with the neighbor kid.

Here is our back deck. This was before the fluffy snow turned into rain pellets.

Jarom thought this was awesome.

Of course it wouldn't be a complete experience unless you caught a flake on your tongue.

Little Helpers

They always want to help with dinner. If one gets to, the other has to. Raegan was able to stir the sauce and Tarin was in charge of the noodles.

"My Purple Eye"

Yes, she is a little crazy when it comes to taking a picture, but we wanted to show what can happen when you come in contact with a swing. At "play school" she pushed a swing and it came right back --imagine that--and it hit below her eye. She refers to it as her "purple eye," because at first it was a soft purple color.

Bedtime Teeth Brushing

Here we have the dynamic duo. These two get into so much together, it is cute.

Some days they want mom to do the brushing, but as you can see, this night, they wanted to do it all by themselves.

They are so goofy together.

Doing Homework

Here is my big boy finishing his book for homework. He was only going to read some of it...but figured he'd do it all.

The cutest part, I caught him in my room. I didn't know where he had gone. I had to get the picture of him reading so intently.

What Makeup?

Raegan watches me more then I thought. I found her in my makeup and putting in on her eyes. Althought she knew she was in trouble, I had to take a picture and laugh a bit.

Peanutbutter Jelly

Raegan is our performer. She gets a bit bashful on camera, but you get the idea. (To watch, pause music player down below).

Merry Christmas Gma and Gpa Palmer

Thank you for the great gifts. The kids really enjoyed them. It will keep them busy for awhile. The popcorn popping brought back some good 'ole memories...the before-microwave-popcorn-days.

Christmas Morning 2007

Christmas Morning. Saying Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Wardwell for the gifts.

"I Can Do It!"

Here is just an example of how headstrong our daughters are. Tarin wanted to wash her hands herself. Once she got up there...she didn't know what to do. No matter, she still insisted that she can do it!

Gpa Wardwell Visiting

Gpa Wardwell is known for magic tricks with the kids.

Now he is showing them how the magic works. I bet they can't reproduce it...all the better for Gpa to come and show them again the next time he's in town!

Orange Smilies

After school snacks are the best. Today we have orange smilies. The oranges are a bit large. So Raegan can't quite fit it in.

Tarin did her best to make the biggest smile ever.
