Palmer Cabin

Over the weekend, my mom and I took the three youngest kids up to the cabin (Rian and Jarom were still w/ gma and gpa Wardwell in Utah). The temperatures in the valley were always triple digits...so 60's and 70's were just what we were needing. Up by Payson, close to the Mogollon Rim my parents have this really neat cabin. It was so peaceful, cool and I loved the smells of the Juniper pines! A smell I've missed.

Then on to Woods Canyon Lake. My favorite lake growing up! It is so beautiful! I loved showing my kids things I did when I was littl'er'. The trails were the best!

Congrats

Tim and Kylee are the newest parents in the family. Jonas Edison Palmer was born July 8, 2010. He was 8 lbs 11 oz and 21 1/4 inches long. Congrats to you both.

Bumming Around

It was a hot day and not much to do...so we got the slip and slide out! It was so much fun! With Rian and Jarom still up in Utah with Gma and Gpa Wardwell and other cousins, the girls and Ammon haven't had their leaders to come up with fun, creative ideas!

Gpa Palmer go the 4 wheeler out and took the kids around the pasture. Raegan was so excited that she got to steer it all by herself!

Again, what to do? Water is about the only way to cool off, so broke out the sprinkler and put it on the trampoline.

Horseback Riding

My brother Scott and family have horses and we had a great opportunity to get up one morning and ride them in their yard. My kids absolutely loved every minute of it. Thanks so much Scott and Heather!!

4th Of July

My brother, Scott and his family, held a BBQ at their house for the entire family. He had a blow up waterslide and everyone brought food. Gma and Gpa Wardwell even came down to celebrate. I can't believe I didn't get a single pic of them with my kids! Ahhh, I'm a terrible photographer. The kids had a great time!

Time for some good competition. Because it was Tarin's birthday, the 3rd of July, she had the opportunity to go first! Happy birthday to my darling! We will do more celebrating back in Georgia.

The next day, Sunday, we spent time with Gma and Gpa Wardwell at their hotel Then we watched fireworks at a field close to the park that was hosting festivities. It was so good to see them and spend time with them. Next morning they took off back to Utah with my two oldest children for a week of camping and fun with cousins. I'm so glad they have this time with family. Wish we lived closer to enjoy these kind of activities year round. Thank you to all family for allowing us to have such a great summer. We love you dearly.

Irrigation

This was quite the treat for the kids! Every two weeks my parents irrigate the yard and my kids absolutely love it! Who needs a pool when you have a yard full of water! Tailor was swapped out with Rian for sleepovers, so Rian missed out, but there was still a whole lot of splashing going on!
