After church on Sunday everyone came over for dinner and Gpa's notorious magic tricks. The kids...and adults...get a kick out of this entertainment. Gpa you are so fun! We all love you tons!
Jarom looks amazed!
He even revealed some of his secrets...this one is my favorite!
I have to keep record of when my kids WANT to help and enjoy it at the same time. Tarin is my awesome toilet bowl cleaner. Ammon wanted to be just like her and wore gloves too.
Just had to post another picture! I didn't have time to go out and capture all that I wanted to, but as the sun rose that morning, you couldn't break me away from the windows...this was such a glorious site to see the pure, bright snow glisten and remind me what a beautiful world this really is.
Today the schools were cancelled (which also meant no Valentine Parties)...it was a SNOW DAY! The kids had a great day spent with Gma and Gpa Wardwell and came home to a yard full of snow! I tried to get some good pictures of this beautiful phenomenon, but this blog doesn't do it justice.
Snowman 'Jeff ' is back. The kids loved building another one.
This week has been a bit eventful when it comes to sick kiddos. Ammon had his debut Monday morning at 2am and the rest of us Tuesday afternoon ALL night til Wednesday. That also included mom and dad. We were all feeling very yucky! Here are all the kids in our bed watching a show to take their minds off of their aching stomachs.
So...I'm not model material...but I found this picture I took a few weeks ago when I helped the kids make crowns for fun...I couldn't stop laughing at myself...
Today was a perfect day to catch Tarin in action. Sadly only 2 other cheer partners showed for the game, but it was a good opportunity for her to get more loud and more proud!!
Bashful girl
Yep, that is Ammon in the background...wasn't too happy I was across the way.
Wanted to post this collection of doorstoppers that we have to place higher up where Ammon can't get to them. He will chew, throw and toss these babies down the air vents. "Curse you air vents"(Rian's words)--cleaned them out yesterday and found close to 20 forks and spoons, many pencils, lots and lots of Qtips, a DS game and many other odd-end thingys.
This picture doesn't do justice to the monsterous hills in my neighborhood. Really there are three big rolls here, I'm standing on the biggest one (love that crack in our street). Just wanted everyone to see the lovely run I do twice a week. With the loop and cul-de-sacs two times around, it ends up being over 5 miles. I hate the first round, but by the second time around, I feel I could run a few more!
This would be what our, almost, 2 year-old has been up to. Yep, if he's quiet, you need to check all sources of water...kitchen, laundry room, tubs, sinks, water cooler, but most of all... the TOILETS! Oh this boy is getting creative beyond his years! He puts toilet paper in the toilet (he prefers the entire roll) and then reaches in and grabs handfuls and begins his art work on the walls. He really does have a good arm when it comes to throwing. As you can see, his skills are being practiced in so many ways...I am so tired!
Our weather has been kind of...COLD! For example this morning it was 12 degrees so school was delayed 2 hours (still patches of ice on the roads from the snow). Yesterday I made a fire after church and this is what I had found a few minutes later...they are SO related to me!
Tarin lost her first tooth! She's been so excited the past couple of weeks that one was loose, so last night her and dad worked on it. Through much coaxing, it came out in a few attempts.
She earned her tooth bag. Tooth fairy was excited to visit this little one.
I had the pleasure of taking pictures for Katie and Mike's wedding. Although I was asked the morning of the wedding, I was glad to do it...any opportunity to practice these skills. The challenge in this situation was the lighting and back drop...but I think it still turned out okay. Katie is Trent's cousin, and Trent also had the opportunity to perform the wedding. Congrats to Mike and Katie. Wishing the both of you a wonderful life together.
Although he is a bit shy to begin with...he rides this thing all the time. Thank you Gma W. He absolutely loves it. Hope you enjoy his smile. BTW I think he's worn out the batteries and it hasn't even been a full day that he's had it...
