Jam Or Jelly???

Oh the season of Strawberries!! I had to take this opportunity to make some freezer Jam! With the kids home for spring break I thought it would be fun to make some and let them help. So good!

Easter Feastivities

A fun weekend for the kids and a good start to spring break. We had family over for an egg hunt in our backyard, which lasted a whole 10 seconds with 100+ eggs. But they had a loot party at the table afterward.

Once again...I'm no professional, but I do appreciate all the practice I can get. I enjoyed doing Kiley and James' engagement pictures. I've learned so much more with my camera, software, but best of all these sites were ones I drive past everyday and have wanted opportunities to utilize their gorgeous charm. Kiley, you and James enhanced the beautiful southeast with your hearts and smiles. Enjoy and hope you are pleased with the results.

Egg Hunting

Had our ward Easter Egg Hunt this past weekend. It was fun to watch Ammon gather the eggs.

For the older kids...there are only so many places to hind eggs around the church grounds...so you can see the youth had gotten pretty creative in the difficulty department. "How bad do you really want it?" BTW, Jarom was sneaky to manuver his way out of my path and I never caught any pics of him!

CSX

Yep, I mean the freight train CSX...my little buddy Ammon is just crazy for trains right now...so one day I decided to wait for one at an intersection that is normally busy with trains! Well, we waited a good 45 mins and nothing. So I decided to try my luck in actually writing the company to find out when the trains might pass by and we could be ready...Saturday I get a package that was from Florida...in my mind, 'ooo what did Trent secretly get me?' Really it was a note with a CSX souvenir hat. The letter went something like...for security reasons we can't give you train schedules...blah blah...but I was surprised they even responded. I couldn't stop laughing, so I decided to do a photoshoot with it...hahaha what's more exciting right?!
