End Of School

What a year! I can't believe another year has passed...Raegan is excited to be called a 1st grader, Tarin a 2nd grader, Jarom a 4th grader and now Rian is the oldest grade at school...a big 5th grader!

What to get the greatest bus driver that is very patient with us and knows to wait or leave at the stop...well, something is better then nothing. He either thinks we are freaks for having 4 kids going to the same school, or hopefully admiration that we even get them out there for 7am pickup as much as we do!

Rian's was invited to be in the Beta Club next year, what an honor!

Raegan loves her buddies

Ammon couldn't resist sitting on his brother's lap!

Tarin loved the end of the year treats!

Climbing Stone Mountain

Last weekend we decided to take a family fun day to Stone Mountain park. Years ago we took the tram up to the top, but this time we decided to do the hike up...I've never done the mile hike up, but I thought it was a lot of fun and worth the fun times together.

The gum pole...on the way down the kids started on a piece of gum to add to the pole...kind of gross, but it was fun making their mark...even if they would never be able to point out theirs soon as they took their eyes off of it.

These rocks are kind of cool...

Field Day

The school year is winding down! Field day is just one of those fun things the kids just love to do.

Tarin thought it was funny to put her head in the water...it was a hot, humid day...I don't blame her...

Jarom

Shy boy... wow, we all need a tan!

It was a fun couple of days.

Mom's Day

Trent was able to have no church meetings (which means not getting up at 4:45am) and made me breakfast in bed with the kiddos. Yummy yumm! Here is a cute picture of Raegan before church. What a cutie pie! After church, the traditional day spa began! Ahhh, to have my feet scrubbed and massaged, and my face painted with mud mask...made me realize I should mask more often! OR have more days like these...
For dinner, we had the family over. Troy, Kristin and Bryn. Missy, Nick and baby Jase.

Rian holding Jase and Ammon kissing his cute fuzzy head.

So Sweet!

So Crazy!

Funny kids!

Motherhood! Such a blessing!

Lemonade Stand

It all started with my son wanting to earn money for something he had his eye on...an expensive something I might add. He wanted to grab junk from our garage and sell it on our lawn, until I looked out the window and wondered what he and the others were doing... once I put a stop to that he dragged his feet and said he wishes he could do a lemonade stand. Well, why not! So I started living vicariously through my kids from this point on and wanted to do one just as bad...never done one! To make it more 'successful' I decided to add other goodies to the mix to give people variety. I had the kids put a little of their own money into the equation to learn the process a bit more realistically. For the next week or so we were working hard to make this the best.oreo truffles

The group all together working hard on a beautiful breezy day.

Turns out we didn't sell quite as much as anticipated, but the kids each made (on top of what they origionally put in) a whole...$3.00! Not a lot, but they had fun and got paid for it. I was very proud of them for sticking through with it and waving at all kinds of strangers that Walmart usually drags in.

What?...Who?...

I walked in the other night and saw hard noodles on the ground and couldn't figure out how they had gotten there. I thought I had gotten them all into the pot.

Little Bryn had made her mark...I gave her the box to "shake" for entertainment, but she decided to go a different direction...

Silly girl. So sweet and lovable.

SODA

This is SODA! No we didn't go out and get a cat. This cat just one day started hanging around and loved the kids. We were determined not to feed it and hoped it would go away, thinking it was just trying to get a hand out like all the other neighbor cats. But this one has been the most patient and smartest ever! So in reference to the Star Wars UTube videos of Y-Y-Yoda, S-S-Soda, we named her Soda. We did start feeding her basic cat food...so I guess we do have a pet. This cat has been proving herself for about a month, so I guess it was about time I added her to the blog.

Ammon is our kisser of all creatures!

New Baby

Just wanted to officially congratulate Missy and Nick on their new baby born April 30th. I don't have a single picture to put on here, because every time I have visited them I would forget my camera...sheesh! Wish I could download some of her pics from Facebook, but it won't work so it will take more effort. He is a real cutie pie with strawberry blonde wisps, cute pouty lips and sweet Wardwell toes. Can't wait to hold him some more.

Big Boy Bed

Because he is the 'baby' of the family...our little caboose, I forget when to help these milestones. Here is Ammon in his big boy bed. He was very ready. He is so proud of his bed. I can hear him, as I type this, playing up in his bed with his books, trains and toys. What a sweet boy.

Birthday Boy

My big boy Jarom has turned 9 yrs old! Wow, he is growing up so fast...which means all of my kids are growing up so darn fast! You can see how goofy he is and how much he loves Lego's! All he wanted were Lego's...so he got...Lego's! Why can't all of our kids be this simple! Anyway, I love my boy and glad he had a great day. We still need to do a few more fun things this week along with a sleepover this weekend to stretch out the birthday fun. He has such a good heart and strong testimony! I love you Jarom!

Soccer Season Almost Over

Raegan has loved, loved and loved soccer! I think I have loved loved loved watching her! She is so fun to watch. She has some skills and energy I didn't think I would see in this little sprite...which makes it all the more fun to be proud of her. Her coach has taught her to break from the "herd" of kids to go defend her goal when they get close...our little goalie.

Team spirit!
