Tarin had the fun opportunity to go to 5th grade camp at Alpine School District Clear Creek Camp down in Price Canyon by Scofield Reservoir. She was pretty excited. In reality, so was I. I volunteered to go for the night that the girls were there, because I wanted to help and see what the camp was like.
Caroline, Tarin and Emma ready for departure from the school Wednesday morning.
On the drive up on the bus, it started to snow! What? Rain was barely in the forcast, let alone snow! None of these girls packed for snow... it was exciting to see it, but we all thought it would be done after a short time...
Well, as you can see, it kept on snowing, and snowing and....SNOWING!
These were the girls in the Eagle Nest Lodge cabin. Mostly from Tarin's class, Mrs. Johnson's class.
The snow rarely let up. It dumped at least 6-8 inches of snow while we were there...
Tarin and Madison were catching flakes on their tongues.

As you can see with all the girls together, it looks like the snow melted away...it did for a short time with some sunshine, but here at the end, the snow started falling again...just in time for the boys to arrive. They were dumped on too.
This really was a fun time. So much fun, we decided to sign Tarin up for a week of camp in June. Fun memories were created. Saratoga Shores Elementary 5th grade girls 2013-2014
