Conference Weekend

Trent had the opportunity to fly to Utah for Conference weekend. He hosted a mission reunion and visited family. He also attended Priesthood session at the conference center (Thank you, Jeff!) Trent is holding Kenadie Brown, his neice.

Here are Averie and Baylie Brown. Our kids really miss you.

Jodie (Trent's sister) and Averie.

All the family together again. Trent, Missy, Carrie, Jodie, Troy and Kiley. Along with Randy and Stacey Wardwell.

The Haunting

The kids had a little bit of time on their hands before school started. They had gotten there blankets and ran around the house like ghosts.

Raegan was the one to start the whole thing. What a cute bunch of ghosts.

The House is a Playland

Raegan found another way to play bowling.

I think she likes the law of gravity.

Let's do it again!

What a goofy girl.

It Is Done!

We are moved in and mostly unpacked. Our sod is growing nicely, and we are making this house a home.

Our driveway turned out real well. A bit awkward in some places, but it is nice.

Here is our backyard. The left side and back of our house was seeded. It's really starting to fill in now. The rain has helped a lot.

Our kitchen is mostly organized.

Breakfast area. I love the big windows, but the kids leave there mark.

Dinin room. Furniture is sparce at this point. The piano will be moved in soon. It will take at least 6 guys to move it. The floors were needing time to cure.

Laundry room. Small for now, but it does the job.

Main floor bathroom for Tarin and Raegan.

Master bedroom. A bit messy, but coming together.

Looking up the stairway toward Rian and Jarom's bedrooms. Another bathroom and bonus room are upstairs as well.

Bonus room. Definitely a toy/entertainment room. So nice to have a place for all of it.

Raegan Turns 3

Happy Birthday to Raegan! She is still the baby, but growing up. Tradition so far is to have candles on pancakes for breakfast. Then later the celebration starts.

Blowing out the candles on her Dora cake. Blowing is no longer an issue.

Opening fun gifts witht he family.

I'll make the next one. Walmart was our friend on this one. Moving has made our lives a bit complicated. Raegan loved it.

Flooring and driveway

Hardwoods are in. It looks really good. The question is, should we paint the stair rails and banister white for contrast? The front door will be stained the color of the floor.

Carpet is in all the bedrooms. This is the master bedroom with Raegan looking out the window at the cement truck pouring our back porch.

Driveway is being poured. We can now get an offical address.

Tooth Relief

Jarom lost his first tooth! It was difficult, because teeth are already coming in behind the two bottom teeth. So we have to loosen the teeth and ask him to be brave as we 'ease' them out. One more to go!

House almost done-Closing Aug.28

Not very many changes happened on the outside. Septic just went in, so we can pour the driveway.

Cabinets are in! They look so good. But as things go in, rooms seem to get smaller. Appliances are ready to be installed. Lights are being installed.

Counter tops will go in soon.

This is the living room looking toward the front door.

Master Bath. Tile for the shower and around the jet tub just went in.

Being the only one not able to go to school, Raegan shares my adventures.

Bonus Room upstairs.

Jarom's room upstairs. Fans are going in.

Back To School

August 6th begins a new school year. Tarin starts Pre-K, Jarom begins 1st grade, and Rian starts 2nd grade. Raegan wanted to start something too. It's been rough for her to see everyone leave.

Panama City Beach, Florida

This is the coastline of Panama City, Florida. (I uploaded this picture in the wrong place and didn't want to fix it.) We walked on the pier and watched the sun go down. It was really nice. Looking over the side, we saw a manatee and a sting ray swim under the pier. The kids loved that.

We took a weekend and went to Panama City, Florida. It was about a 5 hour drive (includes all potty breaks). The first morning was a bit overcast. But that didn't stop the kids.

Rian and Jarom loved to look for shells and watch the little fish nip at there feet.

Tarin thought she would be brave to find shells too.

Raegan felt it was safe to play in the sand.

New postitions help.

We worked together to make a sand castle.

Jarom put the finishing touches.

The sun finally came out mid-day. This is the view from our hotel.

The next morning, Tarin thought the waves were a bit hard, so she wanted the tube. The high tide made it more of an adventure.

Raegan just watched.

Not too many people are up as early as we are.

Jarom's face was a common one. He probably swallowed the most salt water.
