Raegan Turns 3

Happy Birthday to Raegan! She is still the baby, but growing up. Tradition so far is to have candles on pancakes for breakfast. Then later the celebration starts.

Blowing out the candles on her Dora cake. Blowing is no longer an issue.

Opening fun gifts witht he family.

I'll make the next one. Walmart was our friend on this one. Moving has made our lives a bit complicated. Raegan loved it.

Flooring and driveway

Hardwoods are in. It looks really good. The question is, should we paint the stair rails and banister white for contrast? The front door will be stained the color of the floor.

Carpet is in all the bedrooms. This is the master bedroom with Raegan looking out the window at the cement truck pouring our back porch.

Driveway is being poured. We can now get an offical address.

Tooth Relief

Jarom lost his first tooth! It was difficult, because teeth are already coming in behind the two bottom teeth. So we have to loosen the teeth and ask him to be brave as we 'ease' them out. One more to go!

House almost done-Closing Aug.28

Not very many changes happened on the outside. Septic just went in, so we can pour the driveway.

Cabinets are in! They look so good. But as things go in, rooms seem to get smaller. Appliances are ready to be installed. Lights are being installed.

Counter tops will go in soon.

This is the living room looking toward the front door.

Master Bath. Tile for the shower and around the jet tub just went in.

Being the only one not able to go to school, Raegan shares my adventures.

Bonus Room upstairs.

Jarom's room upstairs. Fans are going in.

Back To School

August 6th begins a new school year. Tarin starts Pre-K, Jarom begins 1st grade, and Rian starts 2nd grade. Raegan wanted to start something too. It's been rough for her to see everyone leave.

Panama City Beach, Florida

This is the coastline of Panama City, Florida. (I uploaded this picture in the wrong place and didn't want to fix it.) We walked on the pier and watched the sun go down. It was really nice. Looking over the side, we saw a manatee and a sting ray swim under the pier. The kids loved that.

We took a weekend and went to Panama City, Florida. It was about a 5 hour drive (includes all potty breaks). The first morning was a bit overcast. But that didn't stop the kids.

Rian and Jarom loved to look for shells and watch the little fish nip at there feet.

Tarin thought she would be brave to find shells too.

Raegan felt it was safe to play in the sand.

New postitions help.

We worked together to make a sand castle.

Jarom put the finishing touches.

The sun finally came out mid-day. This is the view from our hotel.

The next morning, Tarin thought the waves were a bit hard, so she wanted the tube. The high tide made it more of an adventure.

Raegan just watched.

Not too many people are up as early as we are.

Jarom's face was a common one. He probably swallowed the most salt water.

Little Miss Rae

Leave it to Raegan to enjoy every ounce of the spatula.

Going all the way.

Pure satisfaction!

Pics for Dan and Jeff--Flooring

Master bedroom. A bit small, but shaped nice for flooring. This is a member of our ward. We had a lot of help tiling from the ward. Over the course of 3 days (Thurs-backerboard, Fri-tiling, Sat-tiling) we had about 20 people stop in to help. This next weekend we will grout.

Hallway leading to dining room on right and kitchen to the left. It turns to an 'L' to a bathroom and bedroom.

Dining room next to front door entrance. Leading to the hallway.

Front door entrance. This may be the trickiest part of installation.

Living room looking toward the kitchen.

Swim Lessons

Jarom loves to look back at me everytime he accomplishes a task. He loves to swim.

Jarom kicking across the pool. (And not taking a breath...he thinks it'll mess his balance.)

Rian's swim class. She really loves it and has passed the level. One more class for the summer to go. (She's the one in the rainbow stripped suit).

Rian swimming across the pool.

Happy Birthday to Tarin 4 years-old !!

Tarin is so excited to be another year older. Having the 4th of July nearby helps with the celebration. She is still a bit scared, but enjoyed it. We pooled our money together with several families, and purchased some really great fireworks from Alabama. It was really spectacular to watch the show and the kids having fun.

House Siding

The siding is done. Gutters will be going up and the pillars on the porch will soon be installed. Insulation is finished and sheet rock will be started Thursday. Obviously more dirt was brought in for the front, and for the back.

Six Flags Over Georgia

We were treated by Gma and Gpa Wardwell to a day at Six Flags Over Georgia. The kids went with Gma and Gpa for half the day then Gpa took them home for swimming and a movie. Us grown-ups had a great time standing in line...and riding the rides. This is Trent, Troy, Ally, Stacey (and Rhonda) waiting for the new ride "Goliath." It was amazing. We rode the fabulous 5, Goliath, Superman, Acrophobia, Scorcher and Batman. And a few repeats.

Acrophobia...
you can see Rhonda opted out of this one. Stacey, Trent, Ally and Troy

Troy takes a shot at hoops. (A few dollars later.)
He shoots, he scores!

The winning prize for his wife, Ally.

Trents' not-so-lucky shot.
